This week a few children from years 5 and 6 were lucky enough to take part in an Enterprise Day at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Bromley. The day consisted of the children working in teams with members of the bank to design and pitch a business idea. All the children gained an understanding of how this particular bank works, had a tour of parts of the office and talked to various members about their job roles. Mr Haylock and Mrs Wallis were very impressed with our children as were the people from the bank. The tasks set were very challenging and the children were put on the spot several times to help develop their presenting skills. This is the first time Poverest has worked with the bank and we look forward to further opportunities in the future.
