Over the last five weeks some of our Year 5 and 6 children were selected to attend the SHINE Project hosted by Bromley High School. Along with four other schools we met for a few hours every Saturday where we took part in a variety of different activities including Forest School, where roasting marshmallows proved a great hit! The programme started with some team building games which encouraged the children to team up with people they didn't know and complete a selection of games. Over the following weeks the sessions ranged from Design Technology, Science, Debating, Philosophy and Classics. It ended with the children composing their own song reminiscing of their time. It was fantastic to see them all so engaged in every activity and making new friends.
