The role will involve clerking at main Governing Board Meetings which are held at the school four times per year for approximately 2.5 hours per meeting, in the evenings, and at two committee evening meetings each term.

There may also be other meetings that require a clerk, these will be negotiated as required; once a year there is a full governor’s day at the school which requires attendance by the clerk.

Additional hours of work can be completed at home and are likely to equate to around 8 hours plus per meeting, in order to undertake agenda preparation, production of minutes, as well as other administrative tasks and relevant training.
