Poverest Primary School understands the value of extracurricular activity for children both for children's mental and physical welling. Children who participate in the wider school curriculum also tend to perform better academically at school. Many teachers give up their free time to run clubs after school and we also facilitate many out-of-school companies to run clubs for the children of our school.

The school also provides a breakfast and afterschool club providing care from 7:30 in the mornings and ending at 6pm in the evening.
